Katie is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and currently licensed to practice in the state of Utah. Katie began her nursing career after graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Brigham Young University in 2014 with Honors.
She has experience in Neurological Rehabilitation, orthopedic and colorectal nursing care and a passion for helping patients achieve their optimal level of health.
Katie graduated from Georgetown University in December 2018 with her Master of Science with an emphasis in family practice and is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key Honors Societies and part of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Katie was raised in Southern California where she grew up going to the beach and hiking in the surrounding foothills. After high school she gave up a basketball scholarship to a school in Southern California to follow her passion for nursing and attend BYU. She and her husband have lived in South Florida for the past 4 years and recently moved back to Utah. They have one daughter who is eight months old, one dog and enjoy anything outdoors. Katie is a die-hard BYU fan, Duke basketball fan and a huge golfer.
